María Eugenia Di Paola
is Coordinator of the Environment and Sustainable Development Program of the United Nations Development Program.
She is also a lawyer at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA-1994), Argentina, Specialist in the Legal Regime of Natural Resources, in Oil and Gas (UBA-2000), Magister in Environmental Law (Pace University School of Law-2001).
She has experience in environmental issues in the public and private sector. From 2007 to May 2013 she was the Executive Director of FARN (Foundation Environment and Natural Resources).
She is a member of the IUCN Environmental Law Commission and was selected in 2009 as Emerging Leader by the Global Environmental Governance Project, Yale Center for Environmental Law and Policy and the College of William and Mary.
Maria Eugenia was Sustainability Coordinator at the Postgraduate School, ITBA, ITBA Lecturer, Lecturer at the University of Palermo, and the Masters in Environmental Management at the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism at the UBA. Assistant Professor in the Legal Regime of Natural Resources at the Faculty of Law, UBA.
She was the first Director of the Legal Clinic of Environmental Law Faculty of Law UBA-FARN. Also she was Director of the Drafting Committee of the Supplement of Environmental Law FARN- The Law and member of the Advisory Council of FARN.
